Just wanted to say i miss maine road, as much as the Etihad has more modern facilities and is a better structural arena, i miss maine road i miss the atmosphere, the standing, the different songs, the souvenir shop, the sherwood pub, the chippy, walking across the kippax car park, the badge sellers, watching the players arrive at the main entrance , the pitch .....i miss maine road !

I miss it dearly.Maine Road will always have a place in my heart. Born and bred round there. To see what has replaced the ground now is heartbraking. A waste and such a shame
But my first visit to Eastlands as it was called then, was fantastic. I knew I'd get use to it and be happy watching my team play there. We had to moved with the times. and it has prove to be the best move for City. R.I.P Maine Road
